About me
My passion for children began when my siblings were born. As the eldest sister, from the age of 14, I was often responsible for my younger siblings and I savored every step in their development. This helped me grow to become a natural born leader as I’ve occupied top leadership positions in school such as Captain of the Track Team, President of the African Student Union and General Manager of the Campus Activities Team. Being the eldest child has also instilled a life-long love for helping children succeed and flourish.
I currently have a Bachelors in Health Science from the University of Hartford. While at the University I was a Resident Assistant, where I acted as a mentor to many incoming freshman students. I really enjoyed this role because it put me in a position to leave a positive impact on students and meet new people. I adore children of all ages and I love working with them as it teaches me a lot about myself.
I have found that my 8 years of working with children of all ages and backgrounds is extremely rewarding, as it makes me a pleasant person and mentor. As a babysitter, I am very enthusiastic, passionate, responsible, and energetic. When working with kids, I create a friendly, safe, structured space where they can express their creativity without feeling judged. I take pride in what I do and go above and beyond because it is a privilege to be trusted with the responsibility to care of kids.

Activities & skills I love to teach & share with children...
Among my favorite activities to do with children is drawing, reading, painting, dancing, field trips, sports, Legos, cooking/baking, using our imagination, and the list goes on. As a former athlete, I love to teach children how to play sports -- you can easily discover hidden talents that can pay off in the long run!
