About me

Hello! My name is Priscilla. I am a seasoned educator with 10+ years of experience working with children in varying capacities. I've worked mainly with children aged 4-11 as a public school art teacher and also as a cooking instructor for a private company.

Some of my hobbies include cooking and baking, and learning about all things food. I enjoy sharing this passion with kids as it gives them an opportunity to try new things in a fun and interactive way. I like spending time outdoors and exploring new places as well as doing arts and crafts. I also love to travel (I'm an avid collector of experiences!) and of course, spend time with family and friends.

I would describe myself as calm but playful, patient but firm. I understand the importance of routine and consistency. I'm methodical and organized and work well within set parameters but am quite flexible when the need arises (as it often does working with kids!). I appreciate and encourage creative expression!

I believe there is always room for growth (intellectually, professionally and spiritually). Over the years, I've found that working with/caring for children provides endless opportunity for growth and learning for both adult and child. Their innocence and enthusiasm for life is what keeps us young! I cherish my experience working with kids thus far and have found it to be truly rewarding and a constant source of inspiration.
