About me

I have been passionate about children since I was a child myself. Growing up an only child in a very small family with no aunts or uncles (and therefore no nieces or nephews!), I have always wanted the biggest family the universe could create for me. My childhood extra-curricular activity was theater, and by the age of 13, I turned that "activity" into a teaching career for myself. I loved inspiring other children to grow their own talents, being their number one supporter, and letting them know that they were never alone. This passion has grown exponentially in the last decade.

If I could describe myself in 3 words, they would be persistent, intuitive, and gracious. I love turning every-day situations into life lessons, as I truly believe everything has a learning component. Having cared for infants, young children, and middle-schoolers, I feel that I have a good handle on the developmental process and the kind of care thats needed for each age group.

When I am with a child, I give them my undivided attention. I find that nothing is more important than nurture, and I can't help but root for all of the children that I work with. Children are a blank slate, and everything that happens in their early development is of the utmost importance. I take my role as an educator and caregiver very seriously, while of course, respecting all parental wishes.

In 5 years, I hope to be...

In 5 years I hope to be on the verge of starting a family of my own. Ideally, I would love to be working for my own non-profit organization that gives children a safe space to express themselves.

Activities & skills I love to teach & share with children...

I love to help children discover their own unique talents. Whether it be an athletic ability, or artistic, everyone has something they are uniquely good at. Nurturing these talents is especially important, and I love to share my own confidence with the children I am able to teach and care for. Once I can instill confidence in a child, it is only a matter of time before they can find their passions and strive to achieve their best work. My own personal talents are artistic/musical gifts, and I am always happy to help instruct children in these areas as well.
