About me
I have always had a love of learning and working with children from a young age. Growing up in a large, Italian family, I always found myself surrounded by toddlers, infants, and babies. My childcare resume quickly grew, and I became a nanny to a family for four years during the time that I received my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education.
I have been an English as a Second Language teacher to 4th and 5th graders for the last eight years and have loved every minute. I believe that a caring teacher's presence in a child's development is vital and I strive to provide this same perspective with the children that I nanny.
When I'm not teaching, you can find me traveling! I love cultures and languages and received my Master's degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages from The New School. I love showing children that there are many cultures and customs throughout the world and fortunately for us, right here in New York City!
I create a warm, welcoming, and engaging atmosphere for all of my children. I have experience in a wide range of ages, from infancy to preteen. I'm excited for the opportunity to share my life experiences with young and impressionable children!
I have professional child care experience with...
- Infants
- Toddlers

- School-aged (K-5)

In 5 years, I hope to be...
Teaching English in another country. I hope to be able to take my teaching skills and love for children and extend that worldwide.
Activities & skills I love to teach & share with children...
I love to share my love of learning with children. I like to show them that we are all life-long learners, and we continue to develop and grow every single day throughout our encounters and experiences.
