About me

I have always had a love for caring for other individuals. Before working with children I was a live- in caretaker for the elderly. The relationship I've built with my patients allowed me to know that I was meant for this career field. I then was offered a job as a dance teacher for a preschool. Seeing how great I was with children, the director of the school offered me a teacher's assistant position which I took immediately. After about a year I was promoted to lead teacher. This position allowed me to indulge in my creativity when it came to projects and daily lessons for the children. The biggest accomplishment I took from being a lead teacher was being a part of a child's growth in academics and character. It's truly amazing to see.

While being a lead teacher, parents saw my work ethics and how I cared for their children in the classroom, and that's what led to them asking for babysitting services. Happily accepting the job offers and doing well with the children, parents were more than happy to ask me back and refer me to other families.

I've always considered myself a kid at heart and working with children keeps that part of me alive. It to me is very important to build a very strong bond with children in which they trust you and feel safe with you. I, to date, have been able to do that with the children that I've worked with and am hoping for more opportunities to do so.
