About me

I am an avid babysitter and kid lover. I've worked with children ages 2 months to 16 years doing everything from changing diapers, choreographing tap dance routines to even teaching my 16-year-old charge how to drive. I enjoy being with kids of all ages and the different relationships you make with kids at different points in their lives. There's something special about knowing a little boy when he takes his first steps or nannying a pre-teen when she has her first crush, and I'm lucky to have done both. I'm passionate about education, the arts, and travel and am inherently very social, and I think these things make me a stellar babysitter.

I moved to NYC from Austin, TX, to pursue acting. However, I began working at a restaurant and fell in love with the industry. After 2.5 years working front of house and administratively, I left the restaurant to start my own consulting company. I work with restaurants and chefs upholding their social media and web presence. I'm looking to begin babysitting again (the restaurant kept me busy!) as a way to supplement my income in preparation for applying to law school. I'm passionate about theatre, music, language and traveling. I'm nearly fluent in Spanish after backpacking through South America for 3 months last year. I graduated from the University of Tennessee in three years, Summa Cum Laude, with degrees in Theatre and Political Science. During my time there, I studied international relations and global security for four months in Prague. I've been to 34 countries and have no intention of stopping any time soon!

I've always been a kid magnet. Just the other day I was at a pool and suddenly had 5-year-olds braiding my hair and begging me to play sharks and minnows with them. I love children for their energy, enthusiasm and open minds. They're endlessly entertaining and hilarious!
