About me

As a self-proclaimed "United Nations kid," I've spent most of my life traveling the world and living abroad (I lived in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia from the age of 1 to 6 and studied abroad in Shanghai, China). Due to my international upbringing and exotic background (I am Jamaican, Chinese, German, Hungarian), the importance of learning languages was always stressed upon my brother and me. I grew up Francophone, attending a French lycee in Addis Ababa and only speaking English with my mother. After moving back to New York and eventually situating in Westchester, I then began studying Mandarin from 6th grade all the way to majoring in East Asian Languages and Cultures at Barnard College in New York City.

Today, my language studies are still extremely important to me while I simultaneously pursue a career as an actor! Although I am no longer in formal classes, I try to speak French and Mandarin as much as a can with friends, family and strangers I meet during everyday life.

When I'm not taking acting classes at The Barrow Group and going on auditions, I work as a service manager at two high-end private event venues in New York City. Working in the service industry has taught me patience, grace, and how to work, thrive and succeed in stressful environments.

I'm fun, creative, organized, detail oriented and punctual! I am also comfortable with tutoring help.
