About me

Twenty years ago, I started my first business as a babysitter. Now as a young professional I am blessed to do what I love most, hanging out with kids and being a part of their world. Most recently I have worked 3 years as part-time nanny in California. I have also been a sitter, art teacher, youth group leader, camp counselor, kids nutrition & cooking teacher, kids hiking guide, kids volunteer leader, library story teller and a day care assistant. I have also worked as a children's fashion and toy designer and product developer. I have enjoyed working with kids in all stages of development from toddler through young adulthood. I especially love engaging with children 4 years and above. My work experience as a Community Organizer, Project Coordinator & Executive Assistant lend well to solid communication and making sure kids' schedules stay on track and everything happens that needs to. I enjoy multitasking as my mind is happiest there.

My favorite thing to do with kids is understand what makes them tick, learn what they are passionate about and find a way to expand, grow and feed their hearts and minds in this area. I also enjoy opening kids up to new activities and subject to expand their minds and worlds. I like to create a safe, playful, loving, yet orderly environment, where creative and imaginative minds are free to grow. I am a huge advocate for learning through play and experience. I love getting kids excited about reading and storytelling. In the past I have worked on urban and organic farm education experience teams teaching kids about where their food comes from and how healthy food, gardening and farming are important to all of us. I am a Certified Food Genius, which means I have been educated and trained to teach kids nutrition, healthy cooking and snack skills. I love getting kids excited about eating healthy. I am a kid at heart, full of positive energy yet I am calm and centered. I hope to connect with your kids teach them new things and learn from them as well because they are our greatest teachers.
