About me

Before moving to New York to attend the American Musical & Dramatic Academy (AMDA), I worked full time in a grade school in Utica, MI. I was a staff member in both the Latchkey (before- and after-school care) and Nursery programs where I worked with children ranging from ages 1 to 15. I also worked as a Preschool Aide, working with kids ages 3 & 4.

Upon moving to New York I began working as an after-school "manny" for a family on the UES. It was my job to assist with homework, escort the kids (a girl age 11; a boy age 9) to and from extracurricular activities, prepare dinner, facilitate bedtime, and everything in between. In a recommendation letter, my last employer said that I am "hard-working, flexible and responsible. He uses humor and kindness to motivate our children, being firm when he needs to be and always emphasizing kindness and good manners."
