About me

I am a graduate of Tufts University. I have a BFA in painting, and love to incorporate art into babysitting whenever I can! I find creativity to be helpful and fun in all situations, especially when getting to know a child. Drawing, painting, or sculpting with a child is so rewarding because I love getting excited about art together with children, and watching children become proud of what they create. I love to teach art to kids--whether its copying a picture from Paw Patrol or drawing a self-portrait, sitting and coloring with kids is one of my favorite activities! I have been working with kids since I was a teenager--I have worked in several camps, day cares, and preschools. Additionally, I have babysat for families with kids of all ages.

While babysitting, safety is my number one concern. I am first aid and CPR certified. I have plenty of experience taking large groups of kids on field trips, and taking kids around NYC and to playgrounds, all in a safe environment. I was born and raised in NYC, so I know my way around!

Additionally, I like to be active with kids. I am full of energy, and love to take kids on walks, play with them, read, and of course do art! I play most sports, and am always up for outdoor games--tag, baseball, soccer, you name it! I also enjoy taking kids on walks or to the playground, and playing on the swings, monkey bars, and slides together. I enjoy playing pretend as well--I once acted out all of Frozen with two little girls! I love to read with kids, and play games like hide and seek, as well as board games. I love getting to know the kids I babysit for--what they're interested in, what they like to do for fun, and what they want to learn--and figuring out how I can help them achieve their goals! I'm excited to be a part of SmartSitting, and looking forward to getting to know your family!
