About me

When I was growing up my friends all loved sports and dance, but I went to babysitting classes at the library and started babysitting any chance I could. I have been learning how to become a teacher my entire life. I have a degree in childhood education in grades 1-6, but have worked with children from birth through high school. I really love teaching children. I am currently in graduate school for literacy education from birth-6th grade.

I work with a population who have English as their second language and I love seeing the growth children can make in just a few months. Most of my class could not speak a word or read a word in English and now, in June, they are reading and speaking to their friends in English.

My favorite thing about living in the city is being able to walk around and visit different bakeries all around the city. I love how everyone is different and able to be themselves here. I'm excited to experience all of the fantastic things the city offers.
