About me

I adore kids and care for them as my own. I am originally from St. Lucia, located in the Caribbean. I am a certified NYC Teacher Assistant and I am currently enrolled in school at Brooklyn College to finish my B.A. in Early Childhood/Special Ed.

I love working with kids and hence my reason in studying to become a teacher. From a young age, I use to babysit my twin cousins, as well as my godchild; my love for kids has only grown since then. I do have a daughter of my own, who is 3 years old, so I am quite aware of the difficulties faced during this age. I love working with babies, toddlers and school aged kids. I am a very loving, caring, trustworthy individual.

Communication is key with me; I work closely alongside the parents, doing things hand in hand to ensure we're all on the same page. I truly love working with kids; hearing the parents and their kids speak so highly of the time I spend with them is such a wonderful feeling! When I do my job, I dedicate 100% of myself to the kids; it's my responsibility to be their guardian and caregiver while they are in my care. I am looking forward to working with and becoming a part of your family!
