About me

Over the course of my adult life, I've had the privilege of working with children of all ages and backgrounds in a variety of ways. From teaching to community organizing to nannying, I seek positions where I am able to make an impact in the lives around me. I have worked with children ranging from newborn to teenager, some with extensive special needs. I began my nanny career while going to college in Boulder, Colorado. I spent over 5 years with a family of 3, raising the youngest from infancy into kindergarten (and we are still close today)! I later moved to France to teach English, then back to the States to do election work, and finally ended up in San Francisco where I worked as a nanny full-time for almost 8 years.

Originally from Michigan, I've lived and traveled all over the world. I recently moved back to Brooklyn after living in San Francisco. I still enjoy traveling and experiencing different cultures and new places, but have found a home here in Park Slope. I love taking pictures, eating with the seasons, all things French, any and every animal, and caring for our natural environment. I believe that I am a natural care-taker; sensitive, loving, adaptable, and resourceful.
