About me

I first started babysitting when I was in high school. I worked at a day camp over the summers, and I began to babysit for some of my campers on weekends and afternoons. I have always enjoyed working with children and seven years ago I decided to make working with children a career. After five years of working as an event planner, I went back to school to become a speech language therapist. Going back to graduate school gave me an opportunity to babysit during my down time. I babysat for multiple families a week and took children to art classes, music classes, nursery schools and parks. We also enjoyed time at home reading books, playing games, and doing arts and crafts.

Now that I have completed my masters degree in communication disorders, I work in an elementary school and I love being able to help children learn and grow. I am excited that working in a school gives me a chance to babysit on evenings, weekends and summer breaks. Whether I am working with children in a classroom or taking care of children that I am babysItting, I believe in having fun, learning through play, being safe, and being creative.
