About me

At 12 years old, I excitedly began my career in childcare as the neighborhood sitter. Over the last 15 years, I have worked with infants through 18-year-olds as a babysitter, camp counselor, teacher and mentor. I have greatly enjoyed my time working with a very diverse group of children at all stages of development. My first sitting experience was with a 1-year-old boy, and a 3-year-old girl, who were very active and loved to play outside. As this brother-sister pair grew older, they became very interested in theater and make believe. Often, we would spend Friday nights staging a production of their favorite bedtime stories. Most recently I have been an after-school sitter for two high energy 9-year-olds. Both children love to learn about ancient Egypt, so it was a ton of to take them on a field trip to the Met, and then go home and mummify oranges.
