About me

Hello! I am a dedicated nanny, household manager, music educator and professional opera singer. While I was studying opera in college, I began to teach music classes in the evenings. It was during this time that I realized how much I loved working with children. Every child is unique, and part of what I love about my job is that I get to help each student discover his or her own strengths and talents and nurture those traits through my educational approach. It is remarkable to see a student grow in confidence and know that I was a part of that. To me, there is truly nothing more rewarding than knowing I had a positive impact on a child's life.

While I was teaching music, I was approached by a student's mother about caring for her children outside of the classroom. This is how I got my start as a nanny! It has been an incredible adventure, merging my love of music and children. As a nanny, I really learned the nuts and bolts of child care during this formative time. I did everything from change diapers to coordinate educational activities and outings. I knew it was my responsibility to promote the physical, emotional, intellectual and social development of the children and I felt a strong sense of purpose because of that.

In 5 years, I hope to be...

My goals are to continue to nanny while perhaps starting my own family.

Activities & skills I love to teach & share with children...

I love to share my passion for music with children. I sing lullabies to the little ones and I teach older children new songs. Sometimes we even put on concerts! They dress up, use a hairbrush as a microphone and we rock out! They absolutely love it and so do I! I'm also a lover of arts and crafts. Last year, I made a snowman out of a cardboard paper towel roll with some of the kids. The most exciting thing is when we turn nothing into something by using our creativity and imaginations.
