About me

I am originally from California, and have been living in New York a little more than 8 years.
I moved to New York to go to Parsons The New School for Design, which was an amazing experience. I didn't take out loans and after two years it became too expensive so I started working and interning and different spaces.
I have had a wide variety of different positions in New York and have lived all over the city and brooklyn, Which has shaped me into the person I am today.
I am very passionate about the arts and have a diverse background from working at a art magazine, to art gallery to artist assistant that has given me a look into all the different aspects of that world and has helped me shape the type of art I make and how I want to make it. Also working at the art bookstore for a few years gave me an outlet to learn more about artist books literature, and even children's books and working at a local bookstore gave me also a sense of community for artists who would shop there, families, and travelers.
I love living in New York as its such a special place that feels like you get to travel all the time while being in the same place. But when I am lucky enough, I love traveling home to California, and love taking other adventures. Recently went to Costa Rica in May with boyfriend and had the most amazing time, experiencing the jungle and the natural wildlife and being in the water, one of my favorite things.
