About me
I love working with kids and babies. I always have. When I was 12, my next door neighbor left her newborn twins with me every day while she picked up her older daughter from school. It's been a very important part of my life since. Over the years, I have worked as a teacher, a counselor, an actress, and a stage manager. While earning my degree in Event Management, I developed a children's program at a Ritz-Carlton and performed at Walt Disney World.
When I am invited into a home, there will be lots of time spent playing, laughing and exploring. While safety always comes first, I have found that the more respect you give to people, the more you are likely to get back, so that is the place that I come from when engaging with children as well. I have a lot of experience cooking to accommodate a variety of diets and allergies, and I am happy to pass along these skills to kids who are interested in spending time in the kitchen.
Caring for little ones has always brought out the best in me. It allows me to nurture, connect and teach. I love learning about people, and getting to help shape and guide how children are understanding and taking on the world around them with a sense of curiosity and mindfulness.

Activities & skills I love to teach & share with children...
I grew up in the theatre, so I like to teach kids about the arts and encourage them to use their imaginations and critical thinking when we're playing or problem solving. I love reading with kids or helping them read to me. I believe that it helps to instill a sense of empathy that everyone should learn at an early age. I also like to cook and bake, and I try to teach children the fundamentals of a balanced lifestyle, including a healthy relationship with staying active and eating things that are good for your body.
