About me

I am an actor here in New York City. I have toured all over the country and have worked here in the city on new works and Off Broadway. I was most recently part of the World Premiere of The Bandstand that transfers to Broadway next fall! It's extremely thrilling to be so close to a dream coming true. This city has been a goal of mine since I was a little girl. There was never any doubt that I would pursue my dream of being a Broadway actress.

When I'm not busy putting up a show, I've always found that my next admiration was for child outreach. I worked as a camp counselor for many years in my hometown. I created a dance camp to offer the kids during the summer months. I produced and directed charity benefits with children and peers of all ages. It was an easy transition for me to turn to childcare as my side job here in NYC. I always felt like a job in the restaurant service wasn't for my skill set. "Nannyland", as I fondly refer to it, allows my schedule to be moderately flexible, it allows me to stay on my toes with the honesty and demands of children, to test my ability to settle arguments, to nurture positive feelings, to foster creativity and sense of freedom, the environment where I can come as I am and not have to don a tie or a black dress. There is a respect level that, hopefully, unifies me with my employer, and where it is the children's happiness and security that is our mutual focus. It's been a great part-time job, and I know I have grown as a person because of it.
