About me

I am a SF Bay Area guy, born and raised. Growing up, I was a competitive gymnast turned dancer. I recently graduated from a weird little school out in Ohio, Wright State University, majoring in Musical Theatre, and then finding my way to New York. As a kid, my parents both travelled constantly for work and I was fortunate enough to grow up with some amazing live-in nannies and babysitters. I know first hand how important this job and relationship is. I hope to be able to provide the same unconditional care and support that I got as a child.

I have been working with children professionally for around 6 years. I taught gymnastics to boys and girls ages 4 through 15 throughout high school and college. I ran both gymnastics and dance camps at my home studios, as well as worked for NY Kids Club when I first moved to the city. Currently, I am working with a wonderful family in Clinton Hill with their 2-year-old son, helping out whenever they have a gap in their schedule. I’m extremely positive, playful, upbeat and organized. I have never gotten bored working with kids. They are amazing and constantly remind me to be more present and in the moment. Their ability to commit and invest so fully is just the best. I find that I am very kid driven and like to let them take the lead and I will be along for the ride to keep them safe and happy. Of course, I love a good puzzle, game or outdoor adventure, so I try to always be prepared.
