About me

I have been working with children as a babysitter, nanny, camp counselor, and theater educator on and off for the past 12 years. I grew up in Westchester, NY, with live-in nannies in my household. These women were an essential part of our family, and a really positive influence on me as I grew up. Having had this experience as a child, I really appreciate the role a nanny can have within a family. When I was 13 and no longer had a nanny, I began babysitting in my neighborhood. Childcare has been a part of my life ever since.

I have also always been passionate about theater. In addition to being nanny and babysitter, I am a director, and work on plays while I am not at work.

Some of my favorite things to do with children are read aloud in silly voices, invent games, and play make-believe -- anything to get the giggles going! I also love to cook, bake, and spend time outdoors. I value education and try to take advantage of any opportunity to teach children more about the world around them.

As fun and silly as I like to be with children, I am also very professional, responsible, and organized. I am happy to help with whatever needs doing around the house, be it cleaning, cooking, or running errands. I love to cook healthy, balanced meals. I am also great with homework help and have experience as an English tutor.
