About me
I have a background in psychology and education, which informs my sensibilities as a caregiver. I received my master's degree in psychology from The New School, where I took extensive coursework in child development, developmental psychology, and cognitive psychology. I've also worked as a K-12 tutor across disciplines with a focus on psycho-educational interventions, helping children develop longterm study skills and organizational abilities, while helping improve attention and decrease anxiety around schoolwork. I'm well-versed in thinking of creative, developmentally appropriate ways of encouraging kids to engage in projects, activities and academic assignments!
I currently work a 9-5 in health research at Memorial Sloane Kettering. My curiosity and compassion drive the work in which I engage, and I strive to bring these qualities to the forefront through my work as a caregiver.
