About me

I love taking care of kids! Having the opportunity to see things the way they do -- with new eyes and an excited and adventurous spirit -- is so fun, and so enriching. My childcare philosophy is based on the fact that kids do best when they are given good boundaries; so if we're crossing the street and they know to stick by me, or if they know that now is the time to get that paper done so that later we can go do something fun, then they can have fun because they know that they're safe. At the same time, I think it's so important to get to know each child; to find out who they are and what they care about. I love encouraging a child's interests and passions -- doing projects or finding great books at the library together to help them learn more!

I've been a babysitter, parent's helper, and music/drama teacher for pre-k to high school aged students! I've designed curricula for drama classes, and created children's theatre in Boston and in New York!

I grew up in Boston, but I came to New York to get a BFA in drama and music from New York University's Tisch school of the arts.

I'm a composer, actor, and conductor. I just finished assisting on my first Broadway show -- "The Visit" by Kander and Ebb. My big projects right now are a musical I'm composing called "Oh, Sally!" and a big project doing piano arrangements for the score of a fairy tale musical called "Disgraced."
