About me

I love children so much because they come to you without hidden agendas. They are sweet and innocent, ready to have a great time playing games and learning new and exciting things. Children are like a sponge just ready to absorb new information and be molded and directed in the right path. I believe that I have a unique opportunity to help a child grow into a positive future productive member of society. A child wants to be encouraged and be told they are doing something right.

I was a nanny for a young girl who was two years old when I started with her. She is a smart young lady who enjoyed sharing every moment going to museums or simply going to the park. I've also taken care of twins, taking them to gymboree classes and always having a good time together.

My hobbies are fitness and art. Keeping fit is needed to keep up with children whose energy seems to never run out! I use art as well as fitness to teach children. Fitness and eating right is necessary for strong healthy bodies. Art always gets their minds thinking of new ways to express themselves. Art opens their minds to new experiences and challenges them to try new things.

I am a mother to a 7-year-old boy who is a burst of nonstop energy and keeps me on my toes. I would never trade the great time I spend with my son with anything in the world. I have a passion to teach young minds. I have a passion to one day open my own childcare service utilizing everything that I have learned to help children develop their young minds and bodies.

In 5 years, I hope to be...

working with your family! In 10 years, I hope to have the opportunity to start a daycare service in New York City. I want to be a unique service with unique ways of teaching and protecting children.

Activities & skills I love to teach & share with children...

Activities and skills I enjoy teaching are social skills such as manners, friendships and respect. I can teach children what it means to be a good friend and develop healthy relationships with other children. I teach children that sharing means that you care about the other child and that they would like to be treated in the same manner. Developing friendships takes a lot of work but can be one of the most rewarding things to happen in a child's life. I also use stories such as "The tortoise and the hare" to teach children life lessons such as to not ridicule other children who learn at a slower speed. "The little engine that could" shows children the value of optimism and hard work.
