About me

I grew up in Chicago as the youngest of two and spent my days playing basketball, building forts and riding bikes with my older brother. We spent our summers at our Grandparent's lake in Michigan swimming, skiing, and tubing with our cousins. To this day, those are still some of my favorite memories and now, as a nanny, I love to encourage kids to be active, explore, create, and dream.

Though I began babysitting at 13, I took my first full-time nanny job while in college watching a two-year-old boy who I stayed with for several years. Upon graduation, I moved to Los Angeles, and eventually New York, to pursue music and touring but found myself nannying consistently throughout every season of my life, often for my bosses. This led to a few high-profile nanny positions, as well as a travel nanny position with a very prominent family with whom I have traveled to both domestic and international locations. Now as a full-time writer in LA, I make my own schedule and love to babysit and temp nanny as much as possible.

Over the years I have cared for children of all ages -- from newborns to teenagers. I have experience with multiples (twins and triplets) as well as kids with special needs and abilities. I believe every child is unique, should be treated as such, and should be given the tools, structure, and encouragement to become their best selves.
