About me

After graduating with Honors from Colgate University, where I majored in Education (and worked in local schools), I moved to NYC to pursue a career in acting. While in NY I worked for two main families. One had two boys with whom I worked for four years. Their oldest started out as a 6-month-old, and I was with them until he was 4.5 and his little brother was 2.5. They're the handsome blondes in my photo! I was with my other family for 2.5 years, leaving when their daughter was 6.5 and their son was 4. In addition to those families, I worked for about 40 other families either on a one-time job, or sporadically throughout my time in NY, either through referrals or through SmartSitting! I loved SmartSitting so much that I helped out in their offices, interviewing new sitters.

After moving to Los Angeles I worked for three main families for a year before moving on to restaurant work so I could audition during the day. My kids out here are all boys, ages 1-5, and a little girl who moved to San Francisco when she was only 4 months! I still see them all the time and often beg the parents to let me come hang out with them! In NY and LA, I have worked with newborns (2 days and up!) through 12-year-olds as a sitter and a tutor. I miss sitting regularly and am excited to take on some sporadic work on the West coast for SmartSitting!
