About me
At my core, I'm a positive person and bring that energy to everything I do. I am funny, grounded, and a lover of life! I have years of experience working with children as a babysitter and I love it immensely.
I grew up with remarkable parents who invited only excellent sitters into our home. As a child, I felt so lucky to have truly great babysitters, and I thought to myself, "what fun, I can't wait to do this when I'm a grown up!" From an early age, I also had no doubt in my mind that I was going to be an actor. I believe that these dreams took root and continued to thrive at this young age because I had direct access to supportive, nurturing, and engaging adults. This childhood shaped my ability to socially develop in a healthy, well rounded way.
As a sitter, being able to actively encourage children to find their individual voice and talent is simply rewarding to witness. I know how to create a balance between providing warmth, openness and an engaging environment while establishing clear boundaries along the way. I would say that one of my strengths is my ability to read people extremely well. When it comes to babysitting, I find myself reading each child and adapting my style to their learning and social needs.
I have professional child care experience with...
- Toddlers
- Preschoolers
- School-aged (K-5)
- Preteen
- Teenagers
In 5 years, I hope to be...
I'm an actor. In five years I see myself working with people I love, with an agent I feel supported by, and on either a film set or a recurring role on a tv show. I hope to continue to be happy, healthy, and surrounded by loved ones.
Activities & skills I love to teach & share with children...
I'm a right brain lady! I always find ways to actively engage with children by seeking very creative activities with them --like creating plays or art projects. I also love to share social skills and core values like generosity, honesty, kindness, and gratitude. I share these beliefs by setting an example in how I act and encouraging the same in the child's interactions.
