About me

I grew up around children. I was eight years old when my younger sister was born, and I quickly learned how to change a diaper and burp a baby and rock a little one to sleep. Watching and nurturing her became a part of who I was, and I have adored working with children ever since. I love the energy and the earnestness of kids. I feed off of their pure joy and their total commitment to whatever task it is they are undertaking. When working and playing with kids, I feel like I have the opportunity to live out of my life’s passions. Being a part of their growth and development means the world to me.

I have worked with children in classroom settings, on an individual basis, and even in foreign countries. I have experience with all ages in a variety of locations and circumstances. When working with kids, I strive to create a loving and encouraging atmosphere. As a performer, I enjoy getting the kids that I am spending time with to access their creativity and use their beautiful imaginations. I find great joy in supporting little ones to develop their curiosities and dive deeper and deeper into their areas of interest. I am a big believer in fun, but safety and discipline are paramount in my caretaking. Helping children understand their big feelings, and equipping them with tools to navigate their little lives is important to me. To me, consistency is key.

I consider being a caretaker to be one of the most important things a person can do, and I feel so privileged to have the chance to make it a part of my everyday life.
