About me
I'm the adopted child of an Episcopal Priest and a Midwife, born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Growing up as the youngest of five, I was taught the importance of mentors and role models from a very young age. I was always very good at school and was given the skills to excel academically and given the opportunities to explore my artistic passions. I have been singing and dancing since age 4, acting since age 8, and producing theater since age 20.
I love New York and exploring everything it has to offer; from the different neighborhoods and all of the museums, to the different cultures, kinds of food, and languages. Growing up in New York, it felt like I could travel across the world in just a few blocks. Having traveled internationally quite a bit at a young age, I have a healthy appreciation for exposing children to the diversity this world has to offer. I find that through ensuring that a child understands his or her strengths, they will feel more empowered to approach challenges and conflicts with the openness that it takes to be successful in this world.
Not only am I the youngest of five, I am also the only sibling with no children, so I have played babysitter to all of my nieces and nephews for as long as I can remember. My nieces and nephews range in age from 17 (the oldest) to 4 (who I have been close to since witnessing her birth). I understand the importance of giving children undivided attention, and the time it takes to allow children to grow and flourish. My parents were determined to show me my strengths so that wherever my life leads me, I can find success and happiness. That is what I desire to share with the children whom I mentor and care for.
I have professional child care experience with...
- Infants
- Toddlers
- Preschoolers
- School-aged (K-5)

In 5 years, I hope to be...
Founding my own theater company, and hopefully working enough as an actress to support my theater habit.
Activities & skills I love to teach & share with children...
I love playing theatrical improv games with children, igniting their imaginations through story, dance, art, language, and math! Having come from a multi-cultural household, I love teaching children about people who come from different walks of life, and exploring the world through their eyes. Children are so unique and have such a specific impression of the world that they live in -- it's truly fascinating!
