About me

I am an experienced and loving caregiver. I have twelve years of experience in child care. Many people in my life have encouraged me to be a teacher, a writer, a dancer, a cellist and much more! However, my reward and passion lay in the fulfillment I receive in working with children and families.

The childcare approach that I take with raising children is the same as how I approach almost everything in life: balance. The environment that I create for children is safe, secure, nurturing, and developmental. I am a strong believer that while I must make every child feel loved and every child feel safe, as a caregiver, I must make it my priority to get to know each child and understand the different things that make each child special in their own right. Is your child a kinesthetic, auditory, or visual learner? Will the same behavior management work for your child but not another? These are just a few questions I have learned to ask and answer in the course of my child care experience.

Finally, I am a deeply compassionate individual who is guided by moral principles. I speak up and stand up for what I believe is just and right.
