About me

With me, families receive much more than a regular babysitter! I aim to combine the traditional method of classroom learning and the fun dynamic of a "summer camp" into one unique, private experience. I am a high energy, fun-loving professional who understands the importance of small ratio learning and whole child development. As an educator, I aim to prepare children for the world that awaits them by drawing on their unique passions, talents, and learning styles to create an environment that cultivates the whole child - academically, socially, and emotionally.

I am extremely passionate about cultivating relationships with families and delivering quality childcare. I relocated to New York from San Francisco and I am thrilled to be here and feel very proud that I have survived New York City winter! In San Francisco, I was an Assistant Director of Auxiliary Programs at a private institution. I helped develop and manage two major programs while maintaining a strong support role to the Director and CFO. I acted as a liaison between teachers, families, faculty, board members, and outside partners to better assess student need and to turn visions into operational plans. Presently, I bring to the table a relevant skill set including a high degree of organization, comfort working with any age group, and a high level of expertise working with children and families. Key strengths that I possess include: ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment, confidence in managing children's activities, sustaining successful working relationships, and an overall pleasant and efficient attitude.

I obtained my B.A. and M.A. from the University of San Francisco in Organization & Leadership; K-12 Education, and I have made it my life’s purpose to use educational best practices to encourage children to learn by doing, to ask more questions, and to discover connections to the world. I am an avid runner, enjoy cooking, am a health and fitness fanatic, and have a deep passion for the arts, especially writing and poetry.

Activities & skills I love to teach & share with children...

I aim to use educational best practices to optimize children’s potential through structured play, creative arts, and specialty projects. I teach ways to improve behavioral skills, when or when not to speak up, social skills, and most importantly, how to be a team player!
