About me

I grew up moving around various parts of Southern California. As second oldest child of 5, I fell in love with performing and quickly took up songwriting, acting, and musical theater. I went on to study Acting in New York at the Tisch School of the Arts and received my Bachelor’s in Fine Arts. After college, I worked as an actor in New York, with a passion for the human condition.  I became involved in advocacy for the homeless and LGBTQ+ families and children, which led me to pursue a Masters degree in Social Work.

Identified by my parents as the "most responsible" older sibling, I often helped my young parents raise my younger siblings. I quickly became my neighbor sitter at the age of 12, and continued to babysit throughout high school. I spent my summers playing club basketball, participating in community theater productions, and being a camp counselor at local summer camps for children ages 2-12. Upon moving to New York, I quickly got involved in the world of nannying in NYC by joining Smartsitter. Most of my duties involved school drop offs and pick ups, providing meals, homework help, lunch prep, and the occasional field trip (ie. the zoo, ice rink, park, etc).  I also have even travelled with a family with a 4-year-old boy and 11-year-old girl during their summer in the Hamptons - this is one of my favorite babysitting memories as the kids and I have much summer sun fun.

Fredrick Douglass said, “It is easier to build strong children than to repair broken [adults]." As a social worker, I am deeply invested in protecting and giving space to those most vulnerable and marginalized, as this is what betters society. Children, though a vulnerable part of society, are also some of the strongest. In this bustling and wild world, my goal is to help provide thriving environments for young people grow into their best selves. They have a lot to teach us.

Activities & skills I love to teach & share with children...

My favorite thing to do with the children I babysit is play. As a performer, play is a passion of mine. I like being active with the kids - board games, sports, dance, music, role play, or anything that the children want to share with me.
