About me

I graduated from Catawba College in Salisbury, NC with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Arts. Since graduating, I’ve worked around the nation and internationally as an actor, as well as being a teaching artist with children, K-12. I’ve given workshops and taught acting, voice, dance, magic, juggling, theatre history, auditioning, improv, stage make-up, stage combat, play writing, sketch comedy, screenplay writing, and ensemble building.

I use to be a kid, and arguably speaking, I still possess those qualities, I'm just a taller version. Kids have a never-ending curiosity and openness to the world around them. Everything is new to them and they often are becoming more comfortable in the environments that show a positive ambiance. I aim to create adventures that offer inspiration and entertainment.

I have been working with children since the age of 13, when I established my own business in high school, performing magic shows at children’s (ages 4-9) birthday parties. I have also looked after several families in New York City. I am happy to help out with your child's interests, whether it's finding new ones or expanding on the current. I feel hobbies and finding that "one thing" (or two or more) that makes your child feel as if they discovered something like nothing else before and they want to know more, allows for them to evolve into explorers in wide realms of innovation, creation and determination.

I have many different interests. I love spending time with family and friends, reading, writing, running, yoga, staying healthy, playing ukulele, traveling, cooking, music, movies, magic, arts and crafts, games, shopping, fashion, photography, big cities, and of course, learning new things. Traveling has been an interest of mine that has really taken me beyond my wildest dreams. I have visited 17 countries and I must say that I intend to explore even more of this beautiful planet we live on.

I would love to become not only a babysitter/nanny for your children, but a mentor and "big bro" to them as well.

In 5 years, I hope to be...

Bi-coastal. I love both coasts equally (Los Angeles and NYC) and I hope to be working on a back and forth basis in the entertainment industry of tv/film/stage/commercials/independent projects/voice-over/animation. As many hats as I can wear. I'm also creating my own projects as well, so hopefully producing and directing will be hats I can wear too.

Activities & skills I love to teach & share with children...

Magic tricks are probably the most colorful skills I know. I also enjoy teaching life hacks too. I'm a huge fan of helping out with projects in all school subjects, helping a child get better at a hobby they have or like doing, or practicing and honing their skills so they can eventually grow fond of something that is not attached to a screen. I'm very outdoorsy, and so adventures and exploration will be guaranteed.
