About me

As an opera singer, I thrive in an environment that allows for creativity. This is why I love working with children. Children love to create and every day is an opportunity to help them express themselves and to help shape their world view. Over the last 10 years, I have been taking care of children from infancy through the pre-teen years, and have found great satisfaction in helping children of all stages develop.

I’m a very dedicated classical musician and have therefore always cultivated a structured environment that leaves room for creativity. This is the type of environment I like to create when I’m babysitting. I encourage children to learn through playing and communication, but my main concern is for this to happen in a safe environment. I’m a very open communicator and I encourage children to share their daily experiences with me. I also love to engage children in activities like reading and cooking and playing outside! Apart from this, listening and adhering to a family's parenting style is very important to me. I always make sure to maintain a dialogue with the parents of the children I care for to make sure we are on the same page.

I have been teaching voice for the last three years and have also worked as a personal assistant for the last year. I’m a very skilled multi-tasker and have no problem babysitting multiple children. I am also a huge dog lover!
