About me

I've had a lot of experience with infants and children of all ages. I worked in Chicago for five years as a live-in nanny with an infant, who then grew into a toddler and now a sweet boy! He was very active and loved to cook, and I took part in all of his daily activities. I took care of everything from potty-training to reading, writing and academic development. I travelled with this family on several occasions, and stayed with the child while his parents were away for at least two weeks per year.

In New York City, I've been working as a nanny for three years. I have worked with one family for two years full-time on the weekends, and another family for just over a year full-time on weekdays.

I'm enthusiastic, optimistic, and love to laugh, but am also firm and extremely reliable. I also love to cook, teach and help the children I watch discover the world around them. I especially love to work on reading skills, counting & basic math, history and learning about nature!

In 5 years, I hope to be...

Working with a family for the long-term. I prefer to be in an atmosphere of total honesty, openness and I am looking to develop a relationship with the families I work for.

Activities & skills I love to teach & share with children...

The most important skills I feel I have taught children in the past is how to respect yourselves, how to respect others, how to share, and be kind and courteous to others.
