About me
My name is Victoria Cerulli and I am born and raised in Massapequa NY. I have my dual Bachelors of Arts in Early Childhood/ Elementary Education and Early Childhood/ Elementary Special Education from Alvernia University in Reading Pennsylvania. After obtaining my dual Bachelors degrees I started my first year of teaching in the Reading Pennsylvania area where I taught 12 life skills students ages 8-10 in a self contained special education setting. Once my contract concluded at the end of the school year I then moved to Lexington South Carolina where I continued my teaching career in general education second grade before moving to inclusion Kindergarten. After being away from family for over 4 years I decided to make the change and move back home to Massapequa to be closer to my loved ones. In the midst of moving back to NY this July 2024 I also graduated with my Master of Arts in Education Leadership from Gardner-Webb University in Boiling Springs North Carolina. I have continued my teaching career in Massapequa NY teaching Pre-K in the Plainedge School District which coincidentally is the school district that I attended as a child.
Throughout my five years in education I have experience with children ages 3-10 and with varying needs. I am up to date on my CPR and CPI trainings and continue to attend workshops to refresh my training in these areas. I have also completed several Epi-pen administration trainings and am familiar with seizure safety protocols. I continue to expand my knowledge of how I can best support children in my care and am open to future trainings that may suit your child's specific needs.
I have experience with children who have developmental delays, Autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, oppositional defiance disorder, and other health impairments. I enjoy the chance the help make a difference in children's lives whenever possible and creating meaningful connections with them and their families. If you are interested in learning more about my qualifications or experience I would be happy to share this information as well. I look forward to hearing from you soon :)
