About me
I grew up in Pennsylvania, Florida, and Rhode Island as the youngest of two siblings, with my sister six years older than me. Being the youngest taught me how to observe, learn, and connect with others, which shaped my nurturing and creative nature. I attended Salve Regina University in Newport, Rhode Island, where I played tennis and earned my degree in Psychology. During my undergraduate years, I had the opportunity to study abroad in Spain and Germany, which broadened my cultural perspectives and deepened my appreciation for diverse worldviews.
While studying abroad in Berlin, I worked as a babysitter for a 1.5-year-old boy. My responsibilities included taking him to and from daycare, preparing meals, and ensuring his safety and well-being. This experience allowed me to learn about different cultural approaches to childcare while refining my caregiving skills.
After college, I earned my Master’s in Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness at New York University, where I strengthened my passion for supporting others.
I’ve worked as a babysitter for a family with a 6-year-old girl, a 9-year-old girl, and an 11-year-old boy. My duties included supervising, helping with homework, preparing meals, organizing activities, managing bedtime, and supporting their extracurriculars. I also cared for a 2-year-old boy and a 5-year-old girl, providing age-appropriate activities, learning support, meals, and assistance with naps and bedtime routines. Both roles involved creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment tailored to each child’s needs.
I believe a supportive, loving, and encouraging environment is essential for children to thrive. My goal as a caregiver is to help children build confidence, compassion, and resilience, equipping them to navigate the world with empathy and kindness.

In 5 years, I hope to be...
In five years, I see myself continuing to work in a role where I can make a meaningful impact on people’s lives, particularly children and families. Whether through counseling or caregiving, I aim to use my skills and experiences to create supportive environments that foster growth, confidence, and well-being. I also hope to further develop my expertise in mental health and wellness, potentially pursuing additional certifications or specializations that will allow me to deepen my knowledge and expand my ability to help others.
Activities & skills I love to teach & share with children...
I love sharing activities that spark creativity, like arts and crafts or storytelling, and teaching skills that build confidence, such as reading and problem-solving. I also enjoy introducing mindfulness and simple yoga to support emotional and physical well-being. My goal is to help children learn, grow, and thrive through fun and engaging experiences.
