About me

I am a young artist from New Jersey in search of a nanny position. I love children and am inspired by their curiosity. I have many years of babysitting experience, beginning in my neighborhood at only 12 years old. I am also from a large family with many cousins, some of whom have children that I now look after. I graduated with a two-year art humanities degree and love to do my best to share my love of art with the children. It’s important for me to organize activities, keeping the children engaged through crafts, books, movies, and day trips. I have worked with children of all ages from before 1- up to 12 and appreciate each stage in its own way. I hope to find a family that I can communicate openly with to ensure that I follow their personal approaches to childcare. I am always willing to adjust and learn with each individual family I care about. I am open to a live-in situation as I’m currently based in NJ but I am also looking for housing closer to my goldsmith apprenticeship in Chelsea, NY which I currently commute to from the shore. I’d love to organize a schedule that is mutually beneficial and can work around allowing me 2-3 trips to the city each week sometime between M-F 9:30-5:30. I also spent all throughout high school practicing Spanish, taking AP my senior year and would love an opportunity to progress my skills speaking with the family.
