About me

I am a professional opera singer and passionate music educator. I received my Masters at Manhattan School of Music and went to college at Columbia University so have called New York City home for almost 10 years. I have experience working with children of all ages as a classroom teacher, private tutor, and babysitter. I am a warm, energetic, and dedicated sitter and would love to share this passion, energy, and dedication with your family!

Originally from Summit, New Jersey, I have always been a passionate student of music and
the arts. I decided to attend Columbia University to get the most well-rounded education
possible. During my time at Columbia, I was able to explore my passion for music
education and working with children. I became an After-School Music Teacher at the
Cornelia Connelly Center, a charter-like middle school for girls in the Lower East Side. I
also interned with the Washington National Opera’s Education Department during the
summer of 2010. And during my senior year, I opened a private voice studio and began
teaching students of all ages. I currently teach throughout New York City and am the private voice teacher in residence at Oak Knoll School in Summit, NJ. At the same time, I have cultivated my own performing career and have performed with some of the premier opera companies throughout the United States. As the child of two full-time working parents, I know first-hand the importance of a great
sitter. I was lucky enough to have many inspiring babysitters while growing up and I would
love to be such a role model for your children!
