About me

I grew up in Rochester NY with my two older brothers and two little sisters (my best friends!). I graduated from SUNY Geneseo with a major in sociology and minors in political science and women and gender studies. I've always loved learning and I bring that curiosity into all areas of my life, especially nannying. I love researching and reading about childhood development and constantly look for ways I can continue growing and improving my approach to childcare. After college graduation, I spent nearly a year working as a full-time nanny before starting my current position doing fundraising at a non-profit public defense firm while nannying part-time.

I have experience working as a full time nanny, babysitter, summer camp counselor, and as an employee at an after school program. In my 8+ years of experience I've worked with kids aged 4 months through 12 years old and deepened my passion for providing kids with a safe, compassionate, and fun environment where they can feel loved and thrive. I have experience working neurodivergent children and understand every child's needs are different and I am always working on finding ways to best meet them. My experience as a summer camp counselor has provided me with an endless supply of crafts, games, and activities and
I pride myself on my ability to make everyday fun and exciting while maintaining a safe and comfortable environment. My childcare style can be described as affirming, high energy, and involved.

I’ve started studying for the LSAT and plan to go to law school in the fall of 2026 to pursue a career in juvenile defense. The most fulfilling, motivating, and exciting job I’ve ever had was my work as a full-time nanny. I learned more working with children than doing any other job and I hope to return to full-time nannying before I start school.
