About me
I grew up in a tight-knit community in South Florida with my parents and two older sisters. As the youngest in the family, I always felt their love and care. During my childhood, I enjoyed riding bikes with my neighbors, swimming, playing board games, and singing with my sisters. When I was 16, my family moved to Westchester, NY, and I've been in New York ever since. I graduated from SUNY Purchase College with a B.A. in Liberal Arts, majoring in Global Studies.
After graduating, I've been fortunate to explore a variety of interests and passions. I've traveled abroad, worked as a production assistant, engaged in social justice work, assisted on an archeological dig in Cyprus, and completed labor doula training. Throughout this time, I continued to nanny and babysit on and off for families with whom I had built strong relationships over the years. My deep desire to care for others has always drawn me towards nurturing roles, which ultimately led me to childcare. This passion for children has also inspired me to pursue a Dual Master’s Degree in Early Childhood/Family Development and Social Work.
For over ten years, I’ve had the pleasure of working with children ranging from newborns to 8 years old, serving in roles such as travel nanny, part-time babysitter, date night/occasional babysitter, camp counselor, and student teacher in an infant and toddler classroom. During my middle school through college years, I babysat and nannied for neighbors, community members, and families I connected with through job postings.
Additionally, I have previous experience working as a lifeguard and hold certifications in Adult and Pediatric CPR/First Aid/AED, Epinephrine Administration, Preventing SIDS and Safe Sleeping, and Prevention and Identification of Brain Injuries. My labor doula training and current graduate studies in Early Childhood Development are equipping me with the knowledge I need to foster and support children’s emotional, social, and cognitive development.
After completing my undergraduate degree, I worked part-time for a family in Manhattan, occasionally joining them in the Hamptons. I helped care for their toddlers (ages 1.5 and 2.5) alongside their full-time nanny. My duties included playing with the boys, preparing meals, managing diaper changes, and keeping their routines consistent. Over the years, we have built a warm relationship, and I’ve loved continuing to visit and babysit for them, even as they grow up (now 3 and 4 years old).
I have also worked as a travel nanny for two toddlers (ages 8 months and 1.8 years), with my main focus being their safety and well-being throughout our travels. I ensured their feeding, sleeping, and toileting routines were maintained, even during the unpredictable nature of travel. This role required a great amount of flexibility, but it was incredibly rewarding to provide that level of care and stability for the children and family, and I still occasionally babysit and travel with them.
My education and social justice work have deeply influenced how I think about childcare. I see it as both a privilege and a responsibility to help guide young children through these formative stages, where they start to understand themselves and the world around them. My goal is to help children grow up with love, kindness, and a strong emotional foundation, so they can positively contribute to the world. I believe that by being intentional, mindful, and nurturing during these early years, we can help children grow into compassionate, thoughtful individuals. I’m excited about the opportunity to be a part of that journey!

In 5 years, I hope to be...
making a meaningful difference in the world and in the lives of those around me, forming deep, supportive, and loving connections along the way. The idea of having a family of my own is something I find very appealing, and I would love the chance to apply what I’ve learned both personally and professionally, bringing my education and passion for nurturing into my own family life as well as my work. In five years, I could see myself in a career as a social worker and/or doula, focusing on postpartum care and child-parent psychotherapy.
Activities & skills I love to teach & share with children...
are ones that support social and emotional development. This includes guiding children with kind, intentional, and developmentally meaningful words and phrases as well as mirroring and supporting self-regulation and co-regulation. I also love spending time outdoors with children because nature offers so many wonderful opportunities to explore, learn, and connect with the world around us. It brings me so much joy to sing, play, and run around with children, as well as to encourage their curiosity and imagination while ensuring they are safe and able to take appropriate risks in their play.
