About me

I'm a performer who loves sunshine and creativity. I was naturally drawn to teaching and babysitting at a young age because I could relate to kids' spirits. Even though my Grandma still pinches my cheeks and thinks I'm her little Quincey, I'm also a very mature and grounded individual who makes well thought-out and smart decisions. I value kindness, compassion, honesty, and, being a Midwestern girl, trust comes in abundance.

Children are a vital part of our world which means that proper love and care are a necessity! I have babysat and/or taught children of many ages, from a premature 3-month-old to a mature teenager. I started off my nannying experience by taking care of 3 children - a 5, 4, and 2-year-old. The 2-year-old was a wild one who loved to test my buttons, but after getting to know each other we formed a deep love and trust. Anytime she'd get upset about something, I'd take her mind off of it by offering up a different opportunity - like putting her to work helping me make macaroni and cheese (her favorite) by stirring the pot, after the "cooking" portion was already done, of course. Action, I've found, is one of the key ingredients to a happy child, whether its creative brain action or fun body action (i.e. dance, sports, playground, coloring, art projects, etc.).

In 5 years, I hope to be...

Established in my career - using the arts and performing to inspire and create positive change in our world.

Activities & skills I love to teach & share with children...

Singing, dancing, creating stories, teaching sign language (if the kids are interested), cooking skills (safe and easy ones), but most importantly I love to find what the kids love to do and expand on that! Kids have their own skills and ideas that they can teach me!
