About me

I grew up between Denver, CO, and Barstow, CA, as one of seven siblings, with three sisters from my mom and three sisters and a brother from my dad. As a child, I loved playing outdoors and skating with my sisters, which instilled in me a strong sense of adventure and family. I graduated from Metropolitan State University of Denver with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences. I began nannying during college for flexibility and soon discovered my passion for childcare. Since graduating, I have been traveling and working as a full-time nanny, using my science background to create engaging and educational activities. My upbringing and academic experiences have shaped my approach to childcare, focusing on creativity, curiosity, and nurturing environments.

I have nearly 10 years of experience working with children of all ages, from newborns to school-aged kids. My journey began as a part-time babysitter in college, evolving into full-time nannying. I have cared for infants as young as 2 weeks old, managing tasks like diaper changes, bottle feeding, introducing solids, and establishing nap routines. With toddlers and preschoolers, I plan activities that support their developmental milestones and foster a love for learning. I've also worked as a date night sitter and household manager, coordinating activities and managing schedules. I am certified in CPR and First Aid, ensuring children's safety, and I incorporate my science background into fun, hands-on learning experiences, making me a versatile caregiver.

I am an active, curious individual who enjoys exploring new places and outdoor adventures, which I share with children to inspire their curiosity. I believe in fostering a child's natural sense of wonder through a balance of play and learning. My passion lies in making a positive impact during the early years, supporting each child's unique personality while teaching kindness, resilience, and independence. Building strong, trusting relationships with families is at the heart of my approach, ensuring children feel safe, valued, and empowered.
