About me
I am a responsible, caring individual with a genuine passion for working with children. I have several years of experience babysitting for families with children of various ages, and I always prioritize creating a safe and nurturing environment. In addition to my hands-on experience, I’m also highly organized, patient, and love planning fun, educational activities that keep kids engaged and entertained. I understand the importance of being reliable, punctual, and flexible to meet the needs of each family, and I always strive to build positive relationships with both the children and parents. My goal is to provide peace of mind while ensuring your children feel safe, supported, and have fun!
I have several years of experience providing childcare for children ranging from infants to pre-teens, both in casual and long-term settings. I began babysitting in my community for local families, handling responsibilities such as meal preparation, bedtime routines, diaper changes, and helping with homework. I’ve had the opportunity to care for multiple children at once, ensuring each child feels attended to and supported. My approach to childcare is rooted in patience, safety, and creativity. I believe in fostering a positive environment where children can feel comfortable expressing themselves while also encouraging learning through play. I’ve planned and led engaging activities such as arts and crafts, reading sessions, and outdoor play, always keeping the child’s interests in mind. Additionally, I’m well-versed in managing schedules, helping with school pick-ups, and even handling emergency situations with calm and confidence. Through this experience, I’ve learned how to communicate effectively with both children and parents, making sure I understand and meet their needs and expectations. I take pride in being reliable, adaptable, and proactive, ensuring every child feels cared for and every parent feels reassured.
My favorite ages to work with are between 4 and 13 years old because children in this age range have developed a wonderful sense of autonomy and curiosity, making them incredibly fun and engaging to interact with. At this stage, kids are starting to explore their independence, but they still benefit from guidance, which allows me to help them develop new skills and learn from everyday experiences. I love how they are easy to communicate with and can express their thoughts and feelings, which leads to more meaningful interactions and conversations. Whether it’s helping with homework, talking about their day, or planning fun activities, I find that kids in this age group are naturally curious and open to learning. They also have enough independence to participate in activities that require some responsibility, like arts and crafts, sports, or problem-solving games, while still enjoying the structure and support I provide. Their energy, creativity, and growing sense of individuality make this age group a joy to work with.

Activities & skills I love to teach & share with children...
I love sharing a wide variety of fun and engaging activities with kids that not only entertain them but also stimulate their creativity and curiosity. One of my favorite activities is arts and crafts, where we can explore everything from painting and drawing to building fun projects with household items. It’s a great way for kids to express themselves and develop their fine motor skills. I also enjoy spending time outdoors, whether it's going for walks to the park, playing games like soccer or tag, or simply enjoying nature. Another activity I love sharing is reading. I believe that reading together is a wonderful way to foster a love of books and imagination. Trips to museums or zoos are also something I enjoy, as they allow kids to learn and explore new things in a hands-on environment. I always try to match the activities to the child’s interests, ensuring that they feel excited and involved. Whether we’re doing puzzles, baking simple treats, or having an afternoon of creative play, I’m always looking for opportunities to make learning fun and memorable for the kids in my care!
