About me

Grown up in the Caribbean, being the eldest of four siblings-for my mom, I lived with both parents and often times assisted in caring for my younger siblings, which included assisting with homework, cooking, protecting and guiding and taking care of some of their daily needs/wants-combing hair, laundry, etc. It was a pleasure to be able to assist with nurturing & caring for them as we journeyed together. In high College I majored in accounting/business, however, as life would have it, I was able to combine that knowledge and skill with nurturing and caring for babies, infants, and children. Currently pursuing medical coding with a combination of billing and accounting.

I operated a childcare facility & homework center (a strong believer in education) for in excess of 5 years where I interacted with ages 0 through 12 years. For the past 7 years, I have specialized in newborn, infant & toddler care. I have in excess of 30 years of experience with children of various ages. I am a certified Newborn Care Specialist in New Jersey. I have experience working with single, multiple (Expert), colicky, reflux, and premature infants. Past employers described me as a true professional, with endless knowledge of infant care, focused, goal-oriented, loving, kind, personable, courteous, punctual, flexible, considerate, tidy, adapts to your style, notices every milestone and works to achieve specific baby goals, detailed oriented, meticulous, warm, organized, someone who takes a lot of pride in her work, and an excellent problem solver with strong analytical skill.

Activities I engage in Indoor educational games, Swimming, Netball, Skating & always reading to improve myself, as well as to communicate and perform more effectively.
