About me

It has been 4 years in childcare and each family has been unique in their care. My first family was part-time with two elementary school children who needed after-school care for transportation, meals, activities, and homework assistance. Every position lasted throughout the year or longer. The second family was after-school care for an elementary boy who had aggressive or a more extreme spectrum of autism. I had no experience in this care but learned a lot about patience and acting quickly in stressful situations. It also tested my creativity with activities as he was only interested in certain subjects and his attention span could be shorter. My most recent family was caring for their infant till two years old full time. It was a pleasure to take care of their child as so many milestones passed by and prepare them for interaction with the world!

I appreciate all ages for various different reasons.
