About me

My name is Aretha from the island of Grenada from a family of ten siblings. I am the middle sibling I help my mother with the children morning and evening before and after work to send them to school. I went to high school and achieved 3 GCE and CXC O'level in my little country Grenada.

We like swimming because we live close to the beach, and hiking because we have a hiking club in our community. We also did creativity and sold to tourists as a child with other children in the neighborhood. Dancing, singing making music, and having an informative conversation as a family is of great importance to us. All my life in Grenada I take care of kids; my siblings and other neighborhood children as well. We always get compensated for our job. We all learn to clean our homes as a child to make our parents happy and proud. I was a lover of sports, especially Tennis and I was a top athlete in my high school. I love outdoor activities because it's always warm in my country. I have the ability to tailor activities to each child's interests, development abilities, and personality as well as communicate with both the children and the parents. I am reliable, and I am able to discipline the children according to the family's preferred parenting style even though I might have some ideas I am willing to help in any situation.

I did Childcare for over 10 plus years in the USA with English as my main language. My experience is from babies from 3 months to the school year. With the babies, I bathed, fed, took them outdoors, and read books for the baby. attend baby classes and make sure the baby utensils are sanitized clothes and bedroom clean and the clothes are washed. From toddlers to school years, I will take them to appointments, drop them off, and pick them up from school, and extracurricular activities. Create playdates with school friends and children around the neighborhood. Clean the children's room and their laundry at the end of the day I prepare dinner before I leave for home. I also do light housekeeping with the little free time I have when the family is out with the children. Provided comprehensive childcare for client's children and after-school activities and maintained a clean, organized and nurturing home environment for the family. I will communicate with the family regularly when I am outside with the children providing updates. I make sure the children meet their physical, Emotional, social, and intellectual needs, and create educational activities that are age-appropriate. As a nanny, my priority is to make sure the children are kept safe with a sound mind and always happy every day while on the job. Communication is the key to a healthy environment.

I love exploring whatever the children are interested in because my priority is to ensure the children and the family are comfortable and happy. I love taking care of children because I have pursued this all my life since a teenager. I hope I can assist in creating excellent memories with each family I work with and each job I experience. My longest nanny job is the last family of over 9 years one son from 3 months until 12. We did everything together including playing games puzzles, and attending shows. Tennis plus other activities. I have a passion for children because I am a mother of one son who I love daily with pure unconditional love.
