About me

I was born and raised in a small town in South East Georgia with 3 brothers. I was pretty quiet and kept to myself as a kid, delving into independent activities such as reading, drawing, and playing video games (Pokemon, Super Mario, Zelda, etc) At 19, I moved to NYC to pursue an Associate's from AMDA, a performing arts conservatory. I then moved to Montclair, NJ to pursue a BA in English/Psychology at Montclair State University. Once obtaining both degrees, I spent a few years in the entertainment industry and predominantly focused on acting and modeling.

In 2017, my career shifted to a more administrative approach where I held the NY Associate Site Director role for AMDA's extended High School programs. I worked closely with the Site Director, and as their right-hand person, we grew the programs resulting in employment expansion. It was during this time that my passion for education and people skills was nurtured. In 2021, I moved on to further develop those skills as a flight attendant and later a special education manager at a charter school. I thrive in environments that allow me to work closely with an individual in order to reach a common goal. I've managed teams as small as 3 and as large as 40. I've come to understand people very well, allowing me to anticipate the needs of others. These skills and experiences have proven to be beneficial in my career as a personal assistant, and as a people manager expert, I am advanced at being the face and gatekeeper of a task, role, and even department. My administrative skills have also been useful in developing organizational systems, managing stakeholder relationships, and even crisis management and response, making decisions based on quantitative and qualitative data points. My flight attendant background also makes me the perfect addition to a team that requires and embraces frequent travel responsibilities.

I'm passionate about people and ultimately respect that above anything else. I care a lot about nurturing even the toughest souls. My philosophy in life is based on empathy and has really shaped how I approach the world, as I strongly believe kindness goes a long way.
