About me

Hello! My name is Griselda. I grew up in Argentina and moved to the U.S. in 1998. I have two siblings, a sister and a brother, who are both still in Argentina. I went to college at JuCUM New Generation Institute Buenos Aires where I received a bachelor's degree in Social Work and Child Psychology. I then went on to receive my master's degree from Colegio Secundario Drago. These degrees both inform every aspect of how I care for children and approach the precious job of helping children grow and thrive.

I am a kind and enthusiastic caregiver with over 25 years of experience as a nanny. Caring for children is my true passion and I find so much joy in fostering a safe and fun environment for children. I have worked with children from infancy up until 14 years old and have experience caring for multiple children in one household. Responsibilities have included ensuring children reach important milestones, establishing sleep and eating routines, taking them to routine pediatric appointments, picking up older children from school, and taking the children to play dates, classes, and park outings. If parents have had special requests for the day or the week, I have always made sure to adjust the schedules to meet those requests (for example, bringing the kids to eat lunch with the parents at their office). I have been responsible for all aspects of care and well-being for children, including bathing, clothing, feeding, and keeping them entertained. I’m Spanish/English bilingual and many families have asked me to speak Spanish to their infants to help establish strong language foundations. It is always a special joy of mine to see infants begin to respond to both English and Spanish.

My free time is spent with my family, enjoying my community, gardening, and baking and cooking. I love to make special cakes and cookies for birthday parties and events!
