Hi, I’m Maryam! I was born and raised on Staten Island, New York, and am the second oldest of three siblings. My childhood was filled with fun and creative activities, which laid the foundation for my passion for working with children. I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from Pace University in 2020 and did my graduate studies at New York University. My extensive experience with children has been a driving force from my normal career path, from tutoring young students to babysitting and teaching preschool classes.

I have over 10 years of experience working with children, ranging from infants to teenagers. My journey began in high school, where I tutored kindergarten and 1st graders. During college, I taught a preschool class and worked at a summer day camp for five years, managing groups of 30 to 40 kids. I also provided babysitting services in the city throughout my college years. Additionally, I had the pleasure of being a nanny for a wonderful family for five years, where I took on responsibilities such as planning activities, managing daily routines, and providing individualized care. My experience includes working with infants, which involved tasks such as changing diapers, feeding, and organizing developmental activities. I am skilled in creating engaging, age-appropriate activities and can assist with both educational and recreational needs.

I love working with children because it allows me to combine my creativity and my passion for making a positive impact on their lives. I find joy in seeing their smiles and helping them grow and learn. My approach to childcare is centered around creating a supportive and enjoyable environment where kids can thrive. I’m motivated by the opportunity to contribute to their development and happiness, and I believe that every interaction is a chance to inspire and make a difference in their lives.
